The Kingdom of God does not operate on the world’s economy. Right now the world would tell you to hoard and to be selfish but this goes against how the Kingdom of God operates. The Kingdom of God operates opposite of how the world operates.
The world believes greatness is in positions. The Kingdom is about our submission. The world wants to be first, the Kingdom wants to be last. The world wants to lord power over people, the Kingdom wants to serve people. The world hoards, the Kingdom sows.
Again, the Kingdom of God is a backward kingdom. In order to see Kingdom miracles, you have to think the opposite of what the world says. With rising inflation, high gas prices, political uncertainty, and economic uncertainty you must stay grounded in God’s Word.
No matter how bad things get the principles of God’s Word remains true, “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” (Gen. 8:22)
Your need will be met by your seed. Resist the urge to hoard during a famine. During a downturn in the economy, Isaac was tempted to run to Egypt (the world’s economy) but God told him to stay put and to plant seed.
“Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him.” (Gen. 26:12)
The best time to plant seed was yesterday. The second best time is today. If you have a need I would encourage you to plant some seeds in good soil.
