I'm  Eric Speir

I'm a writer, pastor, Bible college instructor, wannabe comedian and serial encourager.


I help people get to know Jesus better. Life is tough and the only way to get through it is with a lot of grit and grace.


I write articles to inspire you to grow in your relationship with the Lord and to help you to overcome anything the enemy throws at you.

Official Bio:

Eric has been in ministry for almost 25 years. He has served in a few churches holding positions such as Youth Pastor, Operations Pastor, Ministry Development Director, and Pastoral Care Pastor. In his current role, he is the Academic Director of a ministry college. He spends most of his time developing college-age students for effective ministry service.

He believes knowledge and education are great tools for personal development. He graduated from Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry. He completed a M.Div in Practical Theology with a focus in Leadership Coaching from Regent University. He most recently completed a D.Min degree in Leadership and Creative Communication from Southwestern Assemblies of God University.

Eric has been married to his bride, Roshelle, for over 20 years, and they have four beautiful children ranging in age from 7 to 19 years old. 

He enjoys reading, writing, spending time with family, making people laugh, hiking, and working out in his free time.
